In [[1939]], to prevent [[Nazi]]s to take it the [[Achilles]] transported the [[Stargate]] found in [[Giza]] from [[Egypt]] to the USA. There, Professor [[Langford]], with the help of the [[US Air Force]], made experiment on the [[Stargate]] as President [[Theodore Roosevelt|Roosevelt]] thought it was some kind of weapon. But in [[1945]], after the disapearance of Dr. [[Ernest Littlefield]] through an activated Stargate, the military stopped all experiment and stored the Stargate inside a [[military warehouse]] located in [[Washington, D.C.]] ({{ep|SC}}, [[SG1]]: {{ep|The Torment of Tantalus}}, {{ep|1969}}).
