Not far from the Great Pyramids, an archeological digging is performed by a team led by [[Professor]] [[Langford]]. They discover a [[Stargate|big circular artefact]] made of an [[naquadah|unknown mineral quartz]].

In 1995, Doctor [[Daniel Jackson]], a young Egyptologist, states during a [[symposium on Ancient Egypt]] that the Pharaohs of the Fourth Dynasty did not build the Pyramids. He is then mocked and rejected by his pairs.
